SBI PO Vacancy 2016 Guideline and Official Notification

Finally State Bank of India has issued the recruitment notification for 2200 posts of Probationary officer (PO). A brief detailed table is mentioned below for SBI PO Vacancy 2016. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online before May 24, 2016.

State Bank of India PO Eligibility Criteria:  

Candidates should have done their graduation form a recognized university or institution.

• Students who are appearing in the final year of graduation they can also apply for the State Bank of India PO Recruitment 2016 using online application form, but the graduation must be completed before they appear for interview. 

Age Limit: Candidates who are going to register for vacancy they should be between 21 year to 30 year old. However, the reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per the India's reservation policies. For more details check out the table below mentioned for Age Criteria.

Application Fee SBI PO Recruitment: 

Probationary Officer applicants have to pay Rs. 600/- if they belong to General or OBC category but in case of ST/SC they have to pay only Rs. 100/-. Well this definitely sounds weird but thanks to reservation policies of Government of India for it. Check out table.

Selection Process: There are four phases to qualify the SBI PO Exam Recruitment, sequentially they are Preliminary Exam (commonly known as Pre Exam), Main Exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

 

• Preliminary Exam: All the registered students for SBI PO Recruitment can appear in the Pre Exam. According to the official notification Pre Exam is to held in first and second week of July 2016 (held on Saturday and Sunday). 
• Main Exam: Qualified candidates in Pre exam would further appear in Main exam held on 31st July 2016. Candidates who will get marks more then category they belong will consider as qualified, that directly means that cut off marks will be different for each category. 
• GD (Group Discussion): Qualified candidates in both Pre and Main exam will take part in GD. 
• Interview: This is the final phase for SBI PO Recruitment, candidates who would qualify all these exams and successfully verified its document, will be posted as PO at SBI.
