News Delhi University, Transgender Option in Admission Form, Transgender Students Get Academic Space in Delhi University :
Delhi University is all set to introduce new gender option in 2015-16 admission form "it's Transgender Option". Students will get this option while filling online/offline admission form. Now the university is currently generating a new set of rules for the third gender option.

The Cluster Innovation Center (CIC) of Delhi University is working on a project named "The Third I: Dignity of Begin" for transgender option and rules. The main task of team is to create policy for upcoming session concerning transgender students.
Effect of Transgender Option in Academic Session Delhi University:
Students should aware about this matter, "If any new option will be added in academic session then they have to compromise with them for admission seats, merit also in many other places". Points which force to think about Transgender Option:
- What will be the category of Transgender Students
- Will they get more reservation
- Will they have separate Hostel Facility
- What will Anti-Harassment rules for them
- Fee-Structure for Transgender students
- Special rules for Third Gender candidates
Delhi University has been announce officially about the Transgender Option. As per official records of varsity total nine students selected transgender option in PG Admission.
How Transgender Appear in DU Admission Form:
Before a year High Court approve Transgender as third gender option. Some transgender students in Delhi University demanded for transgender option, after experiment of a year DU finally decided to introduce Transgender option in UG admission form.
